Tom Morley is an expert at bringing people together. He uses a vibrant blend of music and humour to help individuals and teams unlock their ‘rockstar energy.’ This helps them find their creative voice as a group and work together harmoniously.
With a background in music, Tom was a founding member and the original drummer of Scritti Politti. The 80s band pioneered DIY music before breaking into the dance scene. He has also recorded with legends like David Bowie and Madness.
Unlike most bands, Scritti Politti improvised half their songs on stage. From an early age, Tom learned to take risks publicly. Holding your nerve when you don’t know what’s coming next has become second nature to him.
During a power cut on stage in Berlin, Tom kept playing a pounding beat. He then led the audience in a vocal call-and-response chant. That moment planted the seed for Instant Teamwork, the international arts-based team-building company he founded in 1999.
Known as the Rockstar Activator, Tom has worked with some of the world’s biggest companies, including Vodafone, Disney, GSK, Hertz, Nokia, and Cisco.
