Nicolas Krauze is a French conductor with over two decades of experience. He is a graduate of the Washington DC Conservatory and the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. He earned five first prizes and studied under renowned maestros such as Gennady Cherkassov, Zsolt Nagy, and Christoph Eschenbach.
Nicolas has conducted more than 800 concerts worldwide, covering both symphonic and operatic repertoires. He has been invited by top orchestras across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Each season, he conducts around 50 concerts across three continents.
In addition to guest conducting, Nicolas has served as the Musical and Artistic Director of the Orchestre de Chambre Nouvelle Europe for over a decade. He has led more than 500 performances with the orchestra. From September 2018 to early 2022, he was also the Principal Guest Conductor of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, becoming the first foreigner to hold this role.
