Swarzy, a London-based TV and radio broadcaster, is renowned for her work in the media industry. She currently hosts BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Weekend Breakfast Show and has been the voice of BBC Sounds, contributing to various shows on BBC Radio 5 Live. Her journey began when she won a national competition with KISS to become the KISS Chosen One presenter, leading to her hosting KISS Breakfast and interviewing pop icons like Dua Lipa and Pink.

Amid the pandemic and the aftermath of George Floyd’s murder, Swarzy launched KISS Life, the station’s first-ever speech radio show. This groundbreaking program allowed her to engage with her listeners on a range of important topics, showcasing her versatility as a radio host.

She also became the official presenter of My Life My Say’s Quarantine Question Time, hosting conversations with notable guests, including Sir Keir Starmer and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan. Swarzy has become a trustee of the charity and collaborated to launch MLMS’s first live chat show, Make It Make Sense.

Swarzy is not only a media professional but also a community leader. She founded Too Much Source, an annual exhibition celebrating Black British creatives, and has worked with various brands and organizations to host workshops, live events, and panel discussions.

Her passion for sports led her to present the boxing show “From The Corner” on JOE Media and cover British basketball, working with the Community Basketball League to encourage the next generation of talent.

In recognition of her contributions, Swarzy received the Best Presenter award at the UK Entertainment Awards in 2021 and was listed as one of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Black History Month Next Generation Trailblazers in 2020. She kick-started 2022 by hosting the London New Year’s Day Parade on live TV.
