For the last 30 years, Peter has worked in over 30 countries, helping organisations, their leaders, and their employees deliver change improvement and transformation through projects, programmes, workshops, masterclasses, gamification, training, and speaking.
He has a proven track record of complex change and project delivery in multidisciplinary environments and speaks globally to government entities, CEO audiences, leadership teams, and at professional membership conferences. He has Big Four external consulting experience, as well as internal and commercial consulting experience.
Peter works with senior leadership teams to align and prepare them to lead their organisation’s change successfully. At the start of an organisation change journey, Peter asks all leaders: “Do you understand your organisation’s change history? Do you have a vision for change? Are you aligned on your strategic objectives? Are you a high-performing team? Does your team have change leadership skills and knowledge to lead the change or improvement that your organisation is facing?” He then works with the leadership team to develop a solution.
Peter is the author of the Leadership of Change® – Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK), multiple change management books with titles that include change management fables, pocket guide, handbook, leadership, adoption, behaviour, and sponsorship. He strongly believes that Change Waits for No Leader and stresses the importance of aligning the organisation’s leadership team before they start their change or transformation journey.
Peter has an MBA (with distinction) from Robert Gordon University and was one of the first 500 to achieve the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) CCMP accreditation. He was a Certified Manager of Quality with the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and has held three certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI), among others. Peter has Non-Executive Director (NED) and global BoD experience.
