Nicola Green is an acclaimed artist and social historian, specializing in identity, race, allyship, and inclusion. Through her leadership of various projects, she challenges perceptions of power and its connection to the visual image. Her work dives deep into themes of race, gender, and leadership.

Nicola firmly believes in the power of visual art to tell meaningful stories. She often acts as a ‘witness’ to significant global events. Moreover, inspired by her mixed-heritage children and multi-faith family, she strives to preserve social-cultural heritage for future generations. Over the years, she has collaborated with influential figures, such as Pope Francis, President Obama, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and the Dalai Lama.

Driven by her passion for social impact, Nicola actively works to create positive change in the art world and beyond. For instance, she co-founded the Diaspora Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale, showcasing 22 diverse artists. Additionally, she founded the Khadija Saye Arts programme at IntoUniversity, which focuses on addressing BAME representation in the creative industries.

In her role as co-founder of the Sophia Point Rainforest Research Centre, Nicola contributes to preserving the Guiana Shield, the largest remaining pristine rainforest on Earth. She is also a Principal Artist for The World Reimagined, a project that centers on both climate and racial justice. Furthermore, Nicola dedicates time to mentoring young artists and proudly serves as the Patron of Women in Art.

Lastly, Nicola delivers inspiring talks, both online and in person. With her background as a visual artist, she offers a unique perspective, engaging audiences through her powerful artworks and thought-provoking presentations.
