Naomi Sesay is an inspiring and thought-provoking speaker who challenges audiences to examine their emotional, cultural, and neurological habits. Her goal is to create truly diverse and high-performing workforces.

With over 30 years in television and media, Naomi has been a powerful advocate for diversity and inclusion. She has also been a trailblazer for social enterprise. As a keynote speaker, Naomi encourages audiences to enhance their emotional and cultural intelligence, helping build diverse, effective teams.

Naomi has shared her insights with organizations like Warner Bros, AMC, Technicolor, the Met Police, Viacom, UN Women, Harvard Medical School, and Microsoft Playground.

Currently, Naomi serves as Head of Creative Diversity at Channel 4. She develops diversity initiatives and ensures that commissioning reflects the UK’s culturally and ethnically diverse communities. Before joining Channel 4, Naomi was Head of Innovation and Diversity at Media Trust. There, she used the creative industry’s skills to empower charities, young people, and underrepresented communities.

She has also created and delivered diversity and inclusion training for companies like Google, YouTube, NBC Universal, Amazon, Mars UK, Deloitte, Lloyds Bank, and various government agencies.

Before her work in creative diversity, Naomi was a Producer, Director, and Presenter for MTV News at the peak of MTV Europe’s popularity. She also became one of the first Producers of Channel 4’s ‘Big Brother.’ In 2020, Naomi launched her biggest social enterprise project—developing the first smart, sustainable, female-centric city in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Naomi has inspired many organizations to join her in creating this equitable, regenerative, and eco-first city. It serves as a prototype for how we could live and work collectively and sustainably in future cities.
