An inspiring and thought-provoking speaker, Naomi challenges audiences to examine their emotional, cultural and neurological habits with the aim to create a truly diverse workforce.

With over 30 years’ experience in television and media, Naomi Sesay has devoted her career to serving as a powerful advocate for diversity and inclusion, and trailblazer for social enterprise. As a keynote speaker, Naomi challenges audiences to examine their emotional and cultural intelligence to create an effective, high- performing and truly diverse workforce.

She has shared her insights on how to connect, resonate and powerfully lead diverse teams with audiences from Warner Bros, AMC, Technicolor, Met police, Viacom, UN Woman, Harvard Medical School, Microsoft Playground and many more.

Currently Head of Creative Diversity at Channel 4, Naomi’s role involves developing and delivering diversity initiatives and ensuring commissioning reflects the UK’s culturally and ethnically diverse community. Prior to her role at Channel 4, Naomi was Head of Innovation and Diversity for Media Trust, utilising the skillset of the creative industry to help charities, young people and under-represented communities develop a stronger voice in the media.

Naomi has also developed and run diversity and inclusion training for a range of companies including Google, YouTube, NBC Universal, Amazon, Mars UK, Deloitte, Lloyds Bank and various Government agencies.

Prior to her roles in creative diversity, Naomi worked for MTV News as a Producer, Director, and Presenter at the height of MTV Europe’s popularity, going on to become one of the first Producers of Channel 4’s ‘Big Brother.’ In 2020, she embarked on her biggest social enterprise to date, developing the first smart sustainable female- centric city in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Naomi has attracted and invited many organizations to join her in this opportunity to create an equitable, regenerative, and eco-first city, as a prototype of how we could live and work collectively and sustainably in future cities.
