BIO

Jacqueline de Rojas serves as the President of techUK and the Chair of The Institute of Coding. She also holds non-executive positions at Rightmove, Costain Group, and FDM Group. Jacqueline is passionate about diversity and inclusion. She advises organizations like Accelerate-Her and Big Youth Group and acts as a tech ambassador for the Girl Guiding Association.

In 2016, Jacqueline was inducted into the Computer Weekly Hall of Fame after being named Computer Weekly’s Most Influential Woman in IT for 2015. She appeared in Debrett’s 2016 list of 500 People of Influence and was recognized as one of Europe’s “Inspiring Fifty” female role models in 2017. Jacqueline has advised the government on post-18 education and mentors business leaders at Merryck Group.

In 2018, she received the Women in Tech Award for Advocate of the Year, honoring her efforts to promote diversity. In 2019, she won the Digital & Technology Award at the Asian Women of Achievement Awards. She was also named one of the World’s 100 Most Influential People in Digital Government that year and received the Woman of the Year award from Women in IT Excellence.

Jacqueline received a CBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours in 2018 for her services to International Trade in Technology. She continues to mentor at Merryck Group and co-chairs the Institute of Coding. Through her work with Accelerate-Her and the Girl Guiding Association, Jacqueline champions tech transformation.
