Freaky Clown is the author of the bestselling book How I Rob Banks and advises organizations on creating secure environments.
He is an author, keynote speaker, Co-Founder of Cygenta, and the former Head of Offensive Cyber Research at Raytheon. With 30 years of experience as an ethical hacker, FC has helped thousands of banks, governments, and organizations strengthen their security.
FC has shared his expertise on mainstream media, including BBC and ITV, and on popular industry podcasts like Darknet Diaries (EP66). He’s also been featured in print media worldwide, educating people about cybersecurity from a hacker’s perspective.
His role at Raytheon provided him with in-depth knowledge of how nation-states and the intelligence community use and defend against cyber weapons. Over decades, he has legally penetrated organizations, both physically and digitally, in the global fight against cybercrime.
Although FC is his real name (it’s on his passport!), he is better known by his hacker alias Freaky Clown. What began as a schoolboy nickname has transformed into a positive alter ego. Now, FC uses it to educate the world on cybersecurity issues.
Born in the UK, FC now lives in Las Vegas with his wife, Dr. Jessica Barker, and their cat, Bubble.
