BIO

Emmanuelle Lhoni is a journalist, broadcaster, and one of the youngest weather presenters at the BBC. She delivers weather forecasts for the North of England across four television stations and several radio networks.

Before moving into weather presenting, Emmanuelle built her journalism career at BBC North West Tonight, BBC Stories, and the BBC World Service, contributing to BBC Africa, BBC Minute, and BBC Afrique.

She has covered major stories for North West Tonight, including the Hillsborough tragedy. Emmanuelle is also a skilled event host, known for connecting with live audiences and MC-ing a range of events, from awards ceremonies to conferences.

In addition, she is a sought-after keynote and motivational speaker. She inspires audiences across topics like diversity, inclusion, and personal development.

The first in her immediate family to attend university, Emmanuelle studied Broadcast Journalism at the University of Leeds, a Russell Group university. She later completed an MA in International Journalism at City, University of London.

Today, she is the youngest Black female weather presenter at the BBC. She remains connected to her academic roots as an alumna of the University of Leeds’ School of Media and Communication.

Emmanuelle is a talented host and speaker. She interacts with audiences of all sizes and speaks on a range of subjects, including journalism, broadcasting, and presenting.
