With 30 years of experience, Dr. Hasib has led organizational transformations in healthcare, biotechnology, education, and energy through technology and digital strategy. He has successfully launched several multi-million dollar businesses in energy trading and contributed to numerous merger, acquisition, and separation projects.
Dr. Hasib’s accomplishments include launching an award-winning cybersecurity education program that served 4,800 students and generated $117 million in revenue. He has also developed comprehensive Bachelor’s and Doctoral programs in cybersecurity and digital forensics. Over 12 years, he served as Chief Information Officer in healthcare, biotechnology, and education sectors.
From 2020 to 2022, Dr. Hasib earned multiple awards in humorous, international, and extemporaneous speech contests from Toastmasters International. In 2017, (ISC)2 recognized him as a “Rock Star” of cybersecurity for pioneering a competency-based hybrid Master of Science in Cybersecurity Technology program.
Recognitions continued in 2018 when the Global Cybersecurity Observatory in Europe inducted Dr. Hasib into its Hall of Fame. SC Magazine named his program the Best Cybersecurity Higher Education Program in the USA in both 2018 and 2019. He also received the Cybersecurity People’s Choice Award in 2020 and 2017. Dr. Hasib is the author of “Cybersecurity Leadership” and “Cybersecurity in Healthcare,” and he shares his expertise through his YouTube channel with over 200 videos.
