Cecilia Crossley is the founder of From Babies with Love, the award-winning social enterprise that donates 100% of its profits to orphaned and abandoned children around the world.
She developed the idea for the social enterprise whilst on maternity leave and wondering how the sale of gifts for babies could, in turn, provide a wider gift of support to vulnerable children. So far, Cecilia and her team have donated over £100,000 to support over 7,000 children globally.
A chartered accountant with a background in the City and charity finance, Cecilia is half Brazilian; as a child herself she saw children living on the streets of Rio, fueling her passion for international development and social enterprise.
Winner of the Prime Minister’s Point of Light award, Cecilia speaks at events for From Babies with Love’s global corporate clients, for student groups, at retail and HR industry events, and for other stakeholders interested in the competitive advantages and principles of social enterprise.
Cecilia is particularly skilled at speaking about how business with a social purpose offers a significant opportunity to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. She is also a firm believer that social enterprise creates commercial competitive advantage and can help deliver an ESG strategy.
