Cecilia Crossley founded From Babies with Love, the award-winning social enterprise that donates 100% of its profits to orphaned and abandoned children around the world.
She developed the idea while on maternity leave. Wondering how the sale of baby gifts could offer a wider gift of support, she created a model that channels profits directly to vulnerable children. So far, Cecilia and her team have donated over £100,000, helping more than 7,000 children globally.
A chartered accountant with a background in City and charity finance, Cecilia brings deep expertise. Half Brazilian, she grew up seeing children living on the streets of Rio. Those early experiences fueled her passion for international development and social enterprise.
Cecilia’s work has earned her the Prime Minister’s Point of Light award. She speaks at events for From Babies with Love’s global corporate clients, student groups, retail and HR industry events, and other stakeholders interested in social enterprise and competitive advantage.
She explains how business with social purpose can drive progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Cecilia also shows how social enterprise creates commercial advantage and strengthens ESG strategies.
